Roll The Rock 2014: A Rollicking Success

Cape Cod Charitable FunRaisers and Ryan Family Amusements are pleased to announce the results of the  Roll the Rock fundraising event, held last Friday, March 27. 40 teams competed in this year's bowling tournament. 

 

This year, we raised $51,264.85 for CCCF's eight beneficiaries. 100% of the funds raised by each team were directed to the beneficiary of the team's choice. This year's CCCF beneficiaries are The Cape and Islands United Way, Cape Cod Young Professionals, Champ Homes, Hope Hospice of Cape Cod, Kiwanis of Hyannis and Sandwich, Lyme Awareness of Cape Cod, Silent Spring Institute, and Spaulding Rehabilitation of Cape Cod. 

 

The runaway winners of the tournament were the Champ Homes Bowlers with a total of 21,784 points. In second place, JMO and the Survey Plumb Bowlers;  and in third, Pints & Strikes. Scores are determined by combining the total dollars each team raised with the number of pins knocked down at the event.

 

The Champ Homes Bowlers' snazzy medieval themed outfits also snagged the Best Dressed award of the night. Second place for best dressed went to the lovely Belles of the Bowl, and third to the glowing Spaulding of Cape Cod Nurses Rock.

We invite you to join us in 2015. A simply rollicking and fun event, Roll the Rock features many local businesses showcasing their bowling, fundraising and team building skills. It's a blast!  

We will be limiting registration to 40 teams this year while the minumum fundraising requirement is only $800.  Please scroll down to regsiter for the 2015 event. Make sure to get your applications in early! 

 

Information for Teams

  • Cost: Each team must pay $125 for registration and raise a minimum of $800 for their selected charity. The $800 minimum must be turned in before the tournament begins... no exceptions.
  • Each team will be comprised of four (4) bowlers. Each team must designate a member to be "Captain." The Captain will be responsible for all team communication, as well as turning in funds raised.
  • When filling out the registration form we only need the team Captain's information. All information for teammates can be submitted the night of the event.
  • Lane preferences (Ten or Candle Pin) will be honored in a first registered, first assigned basis.
